WHO AM I?

This is the question I wrestled with ever since I was a little girl. I spent decades searching for the answer in the approval of others, my appearance, my affiliations, and my accomplishments.

I suffered and was delivered from a chronic illness (dermatomyositis) that I'd eventually learn was a physical manifestation of an internal battle — anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, and comparison. All of it stemming from fear and a lack of identity.

It wasn't until I got to know Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior,  that I truly got to know myself. I am a child of Yahweh. A disciple of Jesus. An imperfect woman with a renewed heart for learning and living God's Word. I am a wife, a prayer warrior, a daughter, a sister, and a friend.
